In 2022 we were a founding team in the Under 13's competition in Gridiron Victoria. 

 

Our Under 13's team is typically designed to provide young players with an introduction to the basics of the game. Coaches  focus on teaching the fundamentals of the sport, including how to pass, catch, run, tackle, and block. At this level, players are often divided into positions based on their individual strengths and abilities, allowing them to develop their skills in a more focused and specialized way.

In addition to skill development, Under 13's teams emphasize the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship. Players are encouraged to support and encourage their teammates, communicate effectively on the field, and demonstrate respect for opponents, coaches, and officials. By emphasizing these core values, Under 13's teams create a positive and inclusive environment that fosters a love of the game and encourages players to continue playing as they grow and develop.

All of our Junior Teams are overseen by our Head Coach Josh Faure - Coach Faure has a wealth of experience including time in the United States in High School programs. In his own experience as a player, Coach Faure also represented Australia in the World Championships. We’re excited for the growth and direction of the program under his leadership.
