Croydon Gridiron is still welcoming new players – no experience necessary!
We are currently preparing for the start of the season with pre-season training on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7pm – 9:30pm and Sunday afternoons from 2:30pm – 5:00pm at Ranger Field, Springfield Avenue Croydon (google maps link).
Season Starts
The Gridiron Victoria season will kick off for us on Saturday 12th May at Ranger Field. Both the Rangers and Stars will be playing at home that day.
The Club will provide helmet, shoulder pads and playing jersey to new players (you can purchase any of these items for yourself if you wish) - You will need to purchase a set of “lowers” – socks, lower pads, belt and pants to complete the uniform for about $50-$100.
Coaching / Sideline / Staff
New coaches and sideline staff are always welcome. We have a range of positions including coaching staff, medical personnel, chain crew, ball person, canteen and support staff and more available.

Owner Steve Kent is offering the club cash payments for any home or car loans referred by members of the club!
For a loan of $250,000 ( average home loan size ) a donation to the club would be made of $250, effectively a $100 donation on every $100,000 of home lending settled.
For any car loan settled a flat $100 will be donated.

For the 2012 senior season all players and sideline staff need to complete the Gridiron Victoria Online Registration and pay the registration fee which is $100 for players, and $65 for sideline staff.
Click on the link below and follow the online instructions. Simply click on the New Registrations link if you are a new player or if you are an existing player login and pay, if you dont know your login use the password retrival service.
The Rangers will be hosting their 2012 Senior Registration Day on Sunday, 12th February from 12:00 midday at Ranger Field in Springfield Avenue Croydon.
All players, old and new as well coaches and support crew are invited to attend.
This will be a great opportunity to meet everyone at the club, find out what is in store for 2012 and start the year off right.
We will play some touch football and have a BBQ.
We hope to see as many people as possible in attendance as we build towards our 28th season of Gridiron in Victoria.
