Week 14 – Rangers defeat Crusaders 20-0

The Rangers have defeated the Crusaders 20-0 at Monash Sunday to cement second place and all but secure a home semi final in two weeks time.

Whilst the defence came up big producing their third shutout of the season, it was the offense which got things rolling with a commanding opening drive down the field for a a touchdown to fullback Matt Jan who powered into the endzone.

The O kept rolling in the second quarter with another long drive of more than 80 yards, culminating in a touchdown pass from QB Jamie Stafford to wide receiver Neale Oliver, who also celebrated his 100th career reception for the Rangers.

With a 13-0 lead at the break the Rangers kept the momentum rolling into the 3rd quarter with another long drive capped with a QB sneak to Stafford and a 20-0 win.
